LFG Awarded with Fujian Power Award for Enterprises with Increased Production and Efficiency in Q4 of 2015
The Fujian Power Reward for Enterprises with Increased Production and Efficiency in Q4 of 2015 has been recently announced, among which LFG is listed.
Since 2015, LFG has been making full use of the opportunities brought by governmental policies to drive innovation and efficiency through process operation optimisation. Especially since the commencement of production of No. 3 Air Separation Unit Factory in Nanshan, great efforts has been devoted to promoting the “efficiency management process”, and to help employees utilise the advanced management tools like “Plant Models” to improve processes and procedures as well as operation efficiency of devices. In addition, it has improved the filling mode of SALSA system, greatly saving filling time and reducing the loss of filling liquid; has taken positive sales strategy, and strived to reduce inventories, increasing revenues and reducing expenditure, lowering consumption and increasing production, and regulating price and increasing income; and has strengthened budget management, controlled costs and expenses, and reinforced capital management, effectively reducing financial expenses. Thanks to the efforts in performing the above actions, LFG saw an impressive sales performance of RMB 170 million in Q4 of 2015, up 27.5% on a year-over-year basis. We believe that LFG will continue to strive proudly forward and play its part in increasing production and efficiency under the encouragement and support of this policy.
The Award for Enterprises with Increased Production and Efficiency aims to recognise the leading manufacturers to increase their production and efficiency, further facilitating the industrial innovation transformation to achieve steady growth. For this reason, a policy-based measure implemented from 1 April to 31 December 2015, in Fujian required that the reward winners must meet two conditions at the same time, i.e. the quarterly sales that should not be less than RMB 20 million, and a year-on-year growth of 12% and above. There were a total of 17 enterprises that met the conditions for the Quanzhou Power Reward for Enterprises with Increased Production and Efficiency in Q4 of 2015, including LFG that ranked first.
Making Safety the Shortest Way Home ∣LFG Launches “Ankang Cup” Contest Campaign 2016
On the morning of 27 May, the launch ceremony of LFG’s 2016 “Ankang Cup” Contest Campaign for Safety and Health was held in the entrance hall of the complex building in Nanshan factory. Secretary of Party General Branch and Chairman of the Labor Union of LFG presided and delivered a speech at the launch ceremony, joined by Deputy General Manager of LFG, who made a speech on behalf of the company’s management team. More than 30 people participated in the event, including representatives from each department and team, as well as representatives for contracted staff in maintenance and overhaul, security, cleaning and vehicles.
During the ceremony, LFG leaders took the initiative to sign their name on the poster of “Making Safety Being the Shortest Way Home – Launch Ceremony of LFG’s ‘Ankang Cup’ Contest” 2016, marking the official launch of LFG’s “Ankang Cup” Contest 2016 followed by all the attendees who carefully signed their own name on the poster to make a solemn safety oath.
“Ankang Cup” is a trophy for safe production with the Chinese “Ankang” literally meaning “safety and health”. The “Ankang Cup” campaign aims to utilise the contest in safety production management, leaders’ awareness of safety production, know-how and capacity of workers in safety production, and all indexes of safety production, etc. to constantly promote the safety production work and safety culture construction of enterprises and public institutions, continuously expand the social impact, and raise the nationwide safety awareness, reducing the occurrence probability of various accidents and the morbidity of all kinds of occupational diseases.
An Incense Lore Trip to Red Brick House ∣ LFG Commission for Women Organises an Cultivation of Body and Mind Activity for Female Employees
On the weekend of 28 May, the heroines from LFG organised a meaningful “trip to Genyun” as a part of LFG’s EAP program. It was a cultivation of body and mind activity for female employees organised by the LFG Commission for Women, aiming to create an atmosphere of relieving workplace stress, workload and family fetter for their cultivation of mind and body, so as to improve their work efficiency.
During the first visit to “Genyun”, they seemed to open a door to their warm yet distant memories. At the end of the house across a narrow door was a materially different place where guests were talking freely and tasting tea in a secluded tea room. According to the ancient protocol, the beauty of imperial dress can be called Hua, and the nobleness of etiquette can be called Xia. At the exquisite opening ceremony, a salute of Han Dynasty was given to each other. After sitting cross-legged, they listened to every word spoken by the master and then had a hands-on experience to feel the unique charm of making incense. Afterwards, the heroines closed their eyes in the soft music to quietly “taste the fragrance of incense”, with their thoughts that seemed to fly to a variety of artistic conceptions. When the music stopped, they came back to earth again. Then, the ladies with Han Chinese Clothing stood up to get vegetarian dishes one after another, in which there were seasonal vegetables and fruits, low-calorie mixed dishes, light mushroom soup and handmade cakes, and private noodles served with soy sauce that could stimulate taste buds. All these simple vegetarian dishes were imbued with the essence of the marvelous taste of the nature.
It is a precious time for people to relieve from the irrepressible energy of the city outside. A baptism of incense lore is just like a long-lost rite, which contains the rigid adherence to the traditional rules and regulations and the reproduction of elegant taste. In the long-lost ceremonial sense, the heroines from LFG experienced a distinct lifestyle that is filled with comfort, meditation, tranquility of mind, from the etiquette to food and incense materials.
Heroine Model Post in Action｜The PGP Filling Team at LFG Conducts Business Training on Safety of PGP Filling
On the morning of 27 May, the Production and Operation Department of LFG conducted the special business training for the PGP filling team on the fire accident of liquid oxygen tanker on the site of its customer Chongqing Jinxing Glass on 18 May. During the training, the filling workers were required to make a safety disclosure with the drivers of the tanker from the third parties to put an end to similar accidents.
Since the LFG launched the campaign of building “Heroine Model Post” on 29 March, the Packaged Gasses Products (PGP) filling team of the Production and Operation Department has made a timely response. Led by the team head, the team members set strict demands on themselves based on the service specifications of the “Heroine Model Post”, learning new knowledge, mastering new skills, and improving new abilities, with a focus on their own position.
During the campaign of building “Heroine Model Post”, the company will also guide female employees to deeply carry out the activities including professional skills competition and drilling of vocational skills, thus cultivating a legion of female stars in various positions, skill pacesetters and excellent models. LFG will strive to build the “Heroine Model Post” as a “forerunner” leading the industry development as well as an advanced study-style, skillful, service-oriented, faith-based, and innovative female group.
