在林德和五洲的通力合作下，五洲于2015年正式通过环保部审批，成为了联合国《蒙特利尔议定书》全球环境保护改选项目的执行企业，奠定了行业内领头羊的地位。五洲这条年产20万立方米的纯原料国产CO2 发泡挤塑板生产线，除了自动化程度可以与国际尖端设备媲美之外，无氟化生产厚度打破了8公分的纪录。此举填补了国产设备多年来无法正常和稳定使用CO2 生产挤塑板的这一技术空白，推进了中国挤塑板生产工艺改进和技术发展；同时在低碳环保和节能减排方面卓有成效，为保护地球臭氧层做出贡献。
Beijing Wuzhou Foam Plastics Co., Ltd. Established in 2001, Beijing Wuzhou Foam Plastics Co., Ltd. is a large business enterprise that integrates development, research and production of XPS extruded boards, EPS polystyrene boards and foam package in Beijing area. It is one of the top professional enterprises that have realized automatic mass production very early in the industry. In current stage, its overall annual output capacity has already exceeded 1 million m3.
The challenges If we can employ CO2 to replace CFCs, HCFCs and other chemical foaming agents in XPS manufacturing industry, we will be able to reduce damages to the ozone layer and protect the environment. However, in terms of non-fluorinated production of XPS board, the domestic manufacturers have long failed to produce extruded board properly and stably with CO2, with the maximum thickness no more than 6 cm.
Linde solutions Linde’s XPS foaming technology is now playing a leading role in the market. And Linde's CO2 foaming technology can satisfy the needs of Wuzhou in all round manner. Therefore Wuzhou signed contract with Linde to provide PRESUS®C, DSD500 facilities and CO2 supply. Owing to the unique physical properties of CO2, and compared with the conventional liquid foaming agent, to input the precisely quantified carbon dioxide into the extruder is more challenging. The continuous and stable precise amount of gas injection plays a decisive role in the success or failure of products. To ensure a precise control over the influence of carbon dioxide fluctuations on measurement, Linde offered unique PRESUS®C equipment which can secure bubble-free liquid CO2 under Stable pressure and flow rate. At the same time, DSD 500’s extremely precise control over the mass flow can ensure that there is no fluctuation in the entire production process, and the operation and maintenance of the entire operating device is also extremely simple and convenient.Through co-operation between Linde and Wuzhou, Wuzhou obtained official approval from the Ministry of Environmental Protection in 2015 to become one of the executors of global environmental protection re-election project in the light of "Montreal Protocol" of United Nations, playing a leading role in the industry. In addition to the outstanding level of automation comparable with the sophisticated counterparts worldwide, this production line is noted for an annual output of 200,000 m3 of CO2 extruded foam board made of 100% domestic raw materials, with a record 8 cm thick in non-fluorinated production. It helped fill a gap in the domain of technology to mark the end of a history that the domestic equipment cannot produce the extruded board properly and stably with CO2, thus promoting the process improvement and technology development in the domain of extruded board production in China. It also contributes to low-carbon energy saving and the Earth's ozone layer protection.
