Dual Studies at Linde's Pullach Site – Get a bachelor's degree in economics or technology in just three years.

Year for year, Linde accompanies many students through their compacted three-year study cycle at the Dual University of Baden-Württemberg (Duale Hochschule Baden-Württemberg, DHBW). What makes DHBW so special is the ideal combination of theory and practice.

The difference: Students can immediately use their newly acquired knowledge in the practical phases in the company. This permits a smooth transition of graduates from learning to working life.


Procedure

The dual university study cycle starts in October of every year. It is broken down into six half-year terms, each with 12 weeks of theory at DHBW and 12 weeks of practice in the training company.

Subject to your interest and achievements, you can do part of your practical training in one of our overseas subsidiaries.


Exams

In addition to the term exams, students will be required to do practical and project work. In the sixth practical phase, students will prepare their bachelor's thesis.


Framework conditions

The basis for your dual studies is a training contract followed by your registration at DHBW by Linde. You will receive a monthly compensation for the duration of your studies.

To start your dual university studies with Linde, DHBW requires that you have a general university entrance qualification, a specific university entrance qualification for your chosen subject or a similar qualification that is accepted by the responsibly ministry.

We expect you to have achieved very good marks.

Lately access has also been possible with an entrance qualification for a university of applied sciences, provided that you pass a test at the dual university to prove that you are suitable for the intended study cycle.

In cooperation with DHBW in Stuttgart and Mannheim, Linde offers the following study cycles:


Economics department


Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)

Study cycle: Business administration (industry).


Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.)

Study cycle. Business informatics.

 

Technology department


Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.)

Study cycle: Mechanical engineering, specialization on process engineering.


Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.)

Study cycle: Electrical engineering, specialization on automation technology or electrical energy engineering.


Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.)

Study cycle: Industrial Engineering, specialization on Chemical Process Engineering.


Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.)

Study cycle: Computer Science, specialization on Operational Information Management.
